Hi all, Good news (hopefully) - e-cas changed to "decision made" today! Anxiously waiting for the notification to pick up the passport! It looks like there is a 2-3 week delay in the changing of e-cas to the call from the embassy?

Checking status e-cas and through Embassy

Thanks - helps a lot... In Guatemala's case - 18 months is the 80% mark.. I'm not even close to that, so I guess they wont respond then :( So inhumane!

Checking status e-cas and through Embassy

Hi all, Two questions: 1) When checking through E-cas, for those that have been approved - what are all the different statuses that it can be under "In process" before decision made? The first starts with "We started processing <name> applications on <date>. Should it say "received...

    RPRF

Sorry, I was under the assumption that I'd receive a notification as it takes time for them to "process" the payment. Even though I paid with my credit card, I still had to send in the paper (sounds very arbitrary). In any event, I did call, and everything is ok. Thanks all.

    RPRF

    RPRF

Hi all, Quickie: I was asked to send in the RPRF back in September. I paid it that day, and forwarded it to Mississauga. Question is- should I get a confirmation that they received it by chance (ie. how do I know they received, and forwarded on to embassy?) Many thanks.

Very nice and congrats!.. I wish you the best of luck! Did your partner get called in person to collect the passport? Interesting that e-cas changed so many days before you were actually notified!

    Name change on E-Cas

Grrr.. When I used to sign on to e-cas my wife's full name was there (spelled correctly) and contained the 2 last names that are common in Hispanic families. Now - the 2nd last name is off for some reason! Seems kinda backwards! Should we notify the embassy now, and my what means? Gracias.

90 day requests for documents (including PPR)

Sorry to rehash this. We faxed in our questions, but no response - so we emailed them letting them know we faxed and pasted the fax message on the email. Today we got a simple response that doesnt answer anything we asked. It obviously pertains to us, but does not go in any detail. Any...
