Hi everyone , my inland spousal sponsorship just got approved and I have a valid open work permit in which my PR is in process but I need to travel to my home country , can I travel out of Canada and enter with a valid visa and work permit

My lawyer just told me now that I can't claim asylum since my passport is not with me but I can appeal not to leave to buy more time and during the process of appeal I can apply for emergency work permit

I will leave immediately but when I get my seized passport do I need an immigration officer to verify my departure so dat I won't have any problem coming into Canada in the future like an ARC
