Forget Early May. Quite are few are still waiting since April. According to there stats, around half the people received there passports if they applied in April. Still waiting for the other half to receive them.

They need to work on that backlog from April and May. June and July had a good return of passports issued vs applications received .

I was told that an email will be sent to the officer in Mississauga to action it because it has been over 15 weeks and not even touched. Now I am concerned that it the officer is the supervisor as per your feedback and nothing will be done in a weeks time. I will call in a weeks time again and...

I finally was able to reach service Canada. After a 45 minute phone call, I received confirmation that the application was not even started since April. They sent an email to the passport officer and within 1 week, I should see a status of change on the application. I’m supposed to phone back...

What a frustrating ordeal. You can’t even reach the helpdesk unless u phone over and over again and hope to get in the que. Even then, what will be the response? Your application is still under consideration? A total mess but at least our prime minister can leave on a well deserved vacation to...

Who do we need to contact to have the application transferred since the flight ticket are on July 2nd. do we need to go back to service Canada and request it to be transferred to the local passport office or do we phone the help desk that is hard to reach looking forward to your replies regards

Question: What happens if the guarantor or reference doesn’t answer the phone at the time the passport people call to confirm the applicants infomation? Does the passport people keep trying? Is the number a private number? Some people hate answering private numbers. Thanks
