Hi, A friend of mine was requested to provide an RCMP police clearance. She is in Germany (close to Munich) and struggles to find a place to get her fingerprints done. Any recommendations?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through this. Your best chance if you fill out the requested forms one more time and send it. On the Schedule A, make sure that there are no gaps in your addresses and personal history, that you put "NONE" in every section that is not applicable. On the...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

That's the standard wording of OWP's when you don't have a valid medical exam, so if you sent one with your app, they weren't able to connect it to your OWP. It's a good thing you have copies, although I'm afraid that it will still be difficult to get it corrected at no cost.

I just followed the link from IRCC's website: http://www.saudiembassy.net/services/document_regulations.aspx It's at the end of the page.

The guide says nothing about the 5 year ban that is in effect for the spousal sponsorship, so I believe that you can sponsor them as soon as you can provide three years of Notices of Assessments with acceptable figures. Even your spouse should be able to co-sign. That's the only restriction I...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

There is no written rule for the validity of police certificate in the case of spousal sponsorships. It used to be that CIC must receive it within three months from the date of issue. Now there are clear rules for Express Entry candidates, but it says that a PCC can be expected as long as the...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

You don't have to provide a PCC from Canada unless you are specifically asked to, but then you would be asked to submit fingerprints, so your letter would have a different wording. "You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens...

Check this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp You have to provide one from everywhere BUT Canada. If it takes longer than the deadline given (if there is any), advise IRCC as soon as you applied.

Even if they accept your PCC, they need the original. So you can try and send the original now, arguing that you haven't left Canada since it was issued. They may still require a new one.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

No disrespect, but I believe that at least 85% of the cases are straightforward, with or without kids. None of those applicants should wait longer than 6 months (as it was the case several years ago). I don't think that anyone should be prioritized, if there are no red flags, the applications...
