    Criminal rehabilitation - my experience

I applied for and was approved for rehabilitation before submitting my request for a new eta. I didn't get any procedural fairness response, but it did take about 2-3 weeks to get the new eta. I wrote an explanation in the notes box when I applied for the new eta and they accepted it. My PR...

    Criminal rehabilitation - my experience

I just applied for one as if it was the first time, but made sure to mention that I already had one, gave the number for the old one, and told them I wanted a new one that reflected my circumstances and included the approval number for the rehabilitation. I got it approved very quickly. It all...

When I had my landing interview, the lady said that applicants should absolutely call their MP. She said it's their job to work on your behalf and they get paid over $100K/year so you should put them to good use.

He has been online. If you look at his profile he was online 17 mins ago. Maybe he got rejected and doesn't want to post anymore.

I didn't see your second question! Yes they asked us to bring all current and previous work permits. She didn't throw them away, she voided them and handed them back to us. She said we would need them for citizenship applications. I was worried because we got a new visitor record for my son at...

My PPR email was actually a request for landing interview with a date on it as I am inland. Not everyone gets these, I think if your VO happens to be in the city you live then they will just ask you for an interview rather than have you send away your passports and Annex A. The benefit to this...

I don't even use the username I use for everything else on this forum. That's how much I want to protect as much private info as possible! I have a career that requires me to be pretty exposed online.

Yes, mine was reviewed. I had to write a letter because my job title is not matched with the NOC I chose. I chose a NOC for my duties rather than job title. It's very common with postdoctoral research fellows, there are many other threads on this forum. So the officer had to review the letter.

This happens if you upload a client information letter as it means an officer has to calculate on the balance of probabilities if what you are saying is true. It happened to me. Took about 3 days to review it. I wouldn't worry.

My GCMS notes said that too. I think if you upload something into client information it might automatically be "reviewed" by the final officer. In my case, I was concerned about my NOC (my job title is in a different NOC whereas my job duties were actually listed in the NOC I chose... It's...
