If someone received permanent residency in through their common law partner but later broke up with their partner 1 year later after receiving it can they keep their permanent residency status? Do they need to alert immigration some how about the relationship break up or just not inform them?

If my permanent resident card has expired but I'm still in Canada and meet the number of days required for citizenship can I apply for citizenship? Or does one need to renew the card first?

I will be doing a soft landing in April 2022 to receive my PR card and then leave after a month to tie up loose ends in another country. I will not have any significant ties in Canada during this time so I will not be a tax resident during this year. I'm planning on selling my foreign house...
