medicals aren't free, even with OHIP.

my app was received on march 7. i got my AOR on may 31st (just about 3 months) but still no medical request.

I've noticed that the new AORs indicate that your application is complete. The one i got didn't say anything of the nature. It simply had "Acknowledge..." in teh email subject line, had a file number/UCI/ and some generic material. I am a March applicant. Any other applicants with this new format?

nothing i sent them was sealed in any envelope. i remember that was a requirement in the old checklist as yoru transcripts had to be original. but since January, the checklist is more lenient and only requires photocopies of transcripts and doesn't require them to be in sealed envelopes.

what i did was put the dated of expiry of my work permit and explained this in my cover letter. i said something like "since i cannot write 'present', i have chosen to write the expiray date of my permit." i think as long as you explain yourself, it SHOULD be ok. but then again, it's...

it's best to keep uninformed opinions to yourself. if they charged your CC or accepted payment, it means you have done all that was asked based on the guide and the checklist. this means you then get AOR. it doesn't mean that you will be approved, but that you have provided all the documents...

your mind works exactly like mine, in that we both try to calculate everything and attach a number to it. that's helpful because it gives you a good idea of where you stand what may happen. however, the problem with analyzing things so much is that you get stressed well before you should be...

that document checklist from the CIC website has everything you need to send. don't send anything additional unless it is uniquely important. if you do so, make sure you clearly mention it in a cover letter. also, do not miss any documents on that list unless they don't apply to you.

there is no limit as of now.

anyone gotten AOR yet? my app was received on March 7th and credit card charged on march 29th.
