Change of Address - Outland application

Hi all, I applied Outland and have recently (as of this week) moved to Canada (as a visitor of course) with my wife while we wait for the application to finish processing. I have done and passed my medicals and biometrics. My question is, I no longer have my apartment in the states(the address...

It is always possible they will ask for more documents/proof of something. They are asking me for docs/proof for something that makes no sense at all. Trying to figure out what they want now. I would think you should have DM in the coming days/weeks. Hang in there!

It is possible there is an issue and they are going to return his app, yes. I would highly doubt they are that backlogged. Is the app showing up in ECAS?

IRCC requesting medical after its already submitted-Need help!

OK so this is very confusing, i'll try to break it down as simple as I can. See signature for my full timeline. IRCC requested medical exams for myself and my son. I was visiting my wife in Canada when they sent the request so I was able to quickly get mine done. My son was in the states so I...

Staying in Canada while Outland app in process

Ok that’s great info thank you very much! So as far as what I bring, I will only have clothing with me. Probably a lot of it but that’ll be it, should be ok right? And do I NEED to have a return flight booked upon arrival? Or can I just simply tell them I plan on returning the week of “X”...

Staying in Canada while Outland app in process

US to Canada outland application. I’m wrapping up a few things here in the states and would like to spend the rest of the time in Canada with my wife and kids while my app finishes processing. I know I’ve read before on cic’s Website that I can stay in Canada while my sponsorship app finishes...

    Dependant passport question *semi urgent*

Here's the story: At time I submitted my app, my non-accompanying dependant (4 yrs old) did not have a passport nor did he need one, so obviously, I left the passport info section blank on my app, no issues there. Got our medical requests and unbeknownst to me, he needed a passport in order to...

    MAY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

If you have to travel 8hrs to the same place for both bio and medical, I would see no benefit making two separate trips just to get the biometrics done a week earlier.

    MAY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Identical to my timeline except my medicals aren't passed yet. I was able to get mine done quickly but i have one non-accompanying dependant that I'm still waiting for his exam appointment. Going to be pushing the 30 day mark reallllllly close. Hoping it doesn't delay progress with my app...

You’re pretty much on track with others. It took ~12 days after I got AOR to get sponsor approval. I did get biometrics req 7 days after AOR. You should hear something soon I’d imagine
