Any new PRs flown to Canada with ETA but no PR card?

Lols! Thanks, saw that already. I am clear from CIC's end that a COPR is enough to travel with a visa exempt passport - question was more, are airlines aware of this rule and has anyone had a contrary experience :) even after showing the exact same directive to airline staff! Then there is a...

Any new PRs flown to Canada with ETA but no PR card?

Quick question, once a COPR is issued, do we still have to apply for an ETA on a visa exempt passport to do our landing? Do airlines accept the COPR - it does state that a visa is not required for visa exempt passports, but not sure the airlines are in the know. Also, when applying for ETA...

Canadian citizenship: help for my boy

Sorry, don't quite understand what the issue you are facing is -- as you haven't explained it clearly here. As a PR and if you are living in Canada, you or his parent who is a PR can apply for his PR as a dependent. If one of his parent's is a Canadian citizen, he can apply for Canadian...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Thanks Hurlabrick! Helpful info... And no, arguing myself blue in the face with airline staff with two kids and two dogs in tow is not an attractive option at all....even with official web references and papers. I guess, I will go ahead and apply for an ETA. Any idea how many months or weeks in...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

For those that have landed or flown to canada to complete their landing, did you have to have an ETA to board a flight in order to complete the landing process or is the COPR all that is required? Thanks - just received ours and wanted to be sure what the procedure is for UK passport holders.

Check all your email folders and do an MP inquiry to confirm if they sent PPR. If you have a representative - check with them. In the application, what did you put as your form of communication? Email or physical mail address?

Don't worry, I am sure your file will come up soon! Seems like they work in batches and the latter half of June applicant files seem to be moving quicker. It's hard to say, but maybe it depends on the officer assigned to files but who knows for sure!! Hang in there..!!

Did you husband indicate his email for reviewing all communication from CIC? That could be one reason they sent the email to him.... you can still send it on his behalf as it pertains to your sponsorship!
