Travel with few days of PRTD being valid

Guys, Really appreciate your thoughts but no need to fight. I have lived in Germany and have friends there, so it is not really just a courier service. Plus Germany at this time is quite nice - Christmas markets, Gluhwein and spontaneous concerts.

Thanks again. The problem is she is flying with Iceland Air and they have been notorious with their questioning in the past. Most probably I will make a trip to Germany.

I was thinking of couriering the PR card to her, but it took five months to get it after applying online. Just don't want it to get lost in the courier and then have to apply all over again.

Travel with few days of PRTD being valid

Hello everyone, My wife is a PR and she has a one year multiple-entry PRTD expiring on Dec 13, 2023. She is currently in Germany. Her PR card has come to her Toronto address and is with me. I thought it would be better that she pick it up when she visits Canada. She will be flying to Canada on...

    PRCard Renewal 2023

We managed to link my wife's PR card renewal application using GC Key. She had applied in June 7. The status is that they have mailed the PR card on Sept 26. Hopefully, we should get the card in a couple of weeks.

    PRCard Renewal 2023

Our case is similar. My wife applied for PR card renewal online early in June and the status is just "Submitted". She did not get any acknowledgement email or AOR. I guess we just have to wait.

EE CRS tool gives 406 but FSWP eligibility is not passing

I will let her know. Getting a post-doc will give her chance in the Canadian Experience Class and so will increase her score. Thanks everyone for your help.

That was what we were thinking. Since her brother lives in Ontario, she can apply for provincial nomination from Ontario. She has a PhD and research experience in biosciences which is a pretty hot domain now. She might have a fair chance if she applies.

EE CRS tool gives 406 but FSWP eligibility is not passing

That unfortunately is the problem. She got CLB level 4 in French speaking. Listening, Reading and Writing in French was CLB 5. So 0 points for second language. For English, got 20 points as 8.5 in all categories. Maybe she can practice more in French and try again.

EE CRS tool gives 406 but FSWP eligibility is not passing

Hello everyone, I am trying to help my relative in India apply for Canadian PR from India. She has a PhD from the US, lots of work experience, but is above 45 and so no points for age and has no Canadian experience. She has a brother in Ontario and so some points for that. I tried the basic EE...

Residency requirement- overseas with Canadian spouse

He can't apply for a PR card from outside Canada. If his PR card is still valid he can go back and apply for renewal in Canada. Or he can apply for PRTD after his PR card expires when he decides to go back.

Residency requirement- overseas with Canadian spouse

I (Canadian citizen) applied for a PRTD for my wife who is a PR and we have been living together in Germany. Our case has a few similarities to yours. She left very soon after she got her PR and has spent less than 100 days in Canada in the five year window. Also, I accompanied her and so our...

    PRTD Passport request

Today my wife got her passport back. She has got a multiple entry R-1 type visa valid until the end of 2023. Extremely relieved as this makes our move back to Canada much smoother. Thank you again everyone.
