What you mean by "bring"? You send its copy with your initial application or you don't send it. If the old passport's copy hasn't been send, you don't need to bring to for the interview. They study all your documents beforehand.

My oath letter says to allow 3 hours!!! When my friend had an oath with other 400 people it took them an hour and a half to register everybody before ceremony!

BTW Montreal office is a mess... my letter says 29 of May. But if I look at find my citizenship ceremony tool on CIC web site there's no ceremony on this date :)

I wanted to say the opposite. People from same type (non schengen which is non EU) countries has different stories. I am convinced that it depends on personal history.

Me and my friends from Eastern Europe (non schengen) have very different timelines. It differs from 4 months to 13 months with new rules since June 2015.
