Leaving Quebec right after PR (under QSW)

So I'm a PR holder under QSW. I received it a couple of months ago, but I have been living in Quebec for four years, and I have a good job. Recently I received an offer from a company from another province that is MUCH better than I have now. So, how should I do? If I didn't have PR, I would...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi. Yes, I applied under PEQ. I received Passport Request letter recently. But I didn't receive "Decision Made", and nothing is changed in the MyCIC profile. I still have " We are processing your background check." and "Your application is in progress.".

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

You can do a flag-poling, it's pretty easy. Just go to the US border and tell to the US side that you don't need to go to the US and you want to return back and tell to the Canada side that you need to finalize you PR stuff. Could you please share your timing? When did you send you PR application?

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I didn't receive any message regarding my background check, but in MyCIC account the "Background check" field looks like this: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." I didn't order GCMS. Does it mean they started it? Yes, extending...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Yes. They received my application in June 2016. My medical exam was in December 2016 and since I received a message that I passed the medical exam in January 2017, I have not heard anything from them. I'm calling them once a month and operators are always telling me that everything is alright...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Could you please describe it in details? I reached 14+ months, I called them and they only told me that I have to wait more.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I noticed that the people who reached 13+ months and received nothing from CIC never tell the final. So what finally happens with such applications more likely? Do they finally receive the refusal letter or everything is alright?

    Unemployment on valid work permit

But they are kind of the official information. Well even if this information is not correct, where is the guaranty that the agent who processes the PR application knows it?

    Unemployment on valid work permit

I'm in the same situation. Recently I called CIC and the agent told me that I should change my status as soon as I quit the job. Be careful, I saw a lot of topics here with similar questions with wrong answers.

    Quit the work permit job

Yes, I just applied for PR, but since I'm in Quebec, it will take more than a year. However, I don't like my job now. Lately, my wife earns enough to let me quit the job I don't like, that's why I wonder if we can remain in Canada until we receive PR. I called CIC and an agent told me that I...

    Quit the work permit job

Hi there, I am an LMIA work permit holder, and my wife is an open work permit holder. According to the National Occupational Classification, my current occupation corresponds to the A type. Unfortunately, I am considering to quit my job. I know that to obtain a new job I need to get a new work...
