Application was submitted from Calgary but parents could land in Toronto or Montreal! Any issue with that? They will fly to Calgary later.

Medical exam was done in January 2019. Online update massage was "Medical results have been received." Do they inform us if parents pass the medical exam or not?

Do all members of the application, main applicant and dependent members, need to land in Canada together? For some circumstances, the main applicant migh travel to land in Canada later. So wondering if this is an issue for the members of the application knowing that each has a valid Visa.

Hope someone has some idea, how much time parents are given to land in Canada after they receive the passport with Visa issued. I.e How long is the visa valid for?

I think the fax machine gives confirmation that the fax is received successfully on the other end. You could try it ..
