    Canada is facing a massive surge in citizenship by descent applications following the implementation of Bill C-3, so I think our minor's applications are moved to the second plan, plus shortage of IRCC employees,all these factors cause delay !

    Wow,so long. Yes we are in Canada ,sent paper application,but I don't think it's make any matter.Couple of years ago I got similar case with my other child and all application process took about 8 months , now it's getting different.

    Does anyone currently apply or wait for response from IRCC for this type of application? I have applied August 2025 for my child citizenship grant ( Minor 5.2 application) ,got AOR end of November and since then nothing moving, zero update in the tracker.
