Does anyone know if my husband (indian citizen) would need a visa to just travel through LONDON airport, ie. we won't be leaving the airport but have about an 8 hour stop there?

Horray!!! I contacted my MP again today, it was a different woman than I had spoken with a month prior. She put in an enquiry again and Ottawa went straight to ND because at this point we applied 7 months ago... And within one day she emailed me and told me GOOD NEWS!!! THEY ISSUED HIS VISA...

I guess they are asking for more documents, but at this point I have no idea what more we can give them? We have given all they have asked for + more???

That is strange that they waited so long to even start processing your case. Even if it does reach over the six month time (in March for us) I probably really cannot do a whole lot about it... Some people I have heard of have been waiting over 17months... but they have different cases... I don't...

A lawyer told me it is 6 months from when Delhi started processing, i thought it was from initial application time as well but he says there is no use to enquire now, he was an immigration officer so I kinda trust his opinion....

Yeah, our PPR was directly after the transfer. They started to process our case and PPR letter is dated Sept 21st. Medicals were done in Chennai at the Apollo clinic by Dr. Prakash (one of the CND immigration approved doctor)

Yup, no change here yet... Still it says starting processing on September 16th... nothing about medicals but I assume they would have contacted us about that if they didn't have them?

Honestly, I am not sure what Caip notes are? The lawyer we are working with has informed me that only after the set 6months (and that is from when the file reached Delhi) can we really proceed to be more aggressive and take further steps, I pray we don't have to do that. He also informed me...

We are so close to giving up as well Sarong, at least we have the freedom to be in India... Although with the indian immigration rules I do have to wait for a year before I can apply for PIO... but I have freedom to visit. And I leave on Monday to do so, we are so excited! Canada is a beautiful...

We also got passport request within a week of the application reaching ND, that was mid-septmeber. We were really excited that things were happening so fast... I am not trying to discourage anyone but they seem to be slow in ND after issuing PPR and in giving visa... I am not sure why each...

I am really worried now, because it says nothing of medical results being received????
