Oh wow.... well good to know I'm not alone. I've also waited so long for this and seeing how the government can go on strike or ignore your application for months, it's not worth rescheduling. Good luck to you too!

Can't believe the day has finally come! My citizenship ceremony has been updated to in progress!! Only problem is that I already have a flight booked. This ceremony will unfortunately cost me of hundreds of dollars because I'll have to change my flight. Feeling a little bittersweet.

Same, applied Feb 1st, 2022. Physical presence, Prohibitions, and Citizenship ceremony still in progress.

My mom couldn't travel back home during the summer because of covid (airports are still closed back home) so we were forced to apply for a visitor record which extended her stay for another 6 months till January 2021. She still needs to be with my sister for the second semester of school...

Hello My mom would like to extend her stay with my younger (minor) sister while she's studying here. My sister has a study permit (she's an international student) and my mom accompanied her using her visitor visa. I would like to know how I can extend my mother's stay for the entire school year...
