    Visitor Record extension for child who is an USA citizen. Planning to sponsor his PR soon.

    My son's visitor visa is expiring on June 16th and I need to apply for his visitor record extension. I am also planning to apply for his PR soon. He is a USA Citizen. Would it be better to cross the border and have a new visitor record or would be better to apply for his visitor record online...

    To date in IMM5444 form is fixed while applying for new PR card for the first time and does not change.

    Thanks for your response. I was able to create new account and was able to get my PR Card.
