from what i been reading it sounds easy if you have a valid study permit or valid visitor visa in Canada, and you want a SOWP or any other work permit...so why doesnt everyone just do that instead of the hassles with CIC? What is the catch??

I thought spouses of skilled workers didnt have to show money if they applied inland. CIC site says"you may be eligible for OWP if you're a spouse of a skilled worker." Then it says "ALSO need to meet GENERAL ELIGIBILITY requirements"....show that you have enough money to take care of yourself...
