Alhamdolillah: Visa issued Timeline Applied: 14 Feb 2012 Medical Done: 2 April 2012 Visa Received 7 May 2012 Had a fight at PIA Rawalpindi office as they were not issuing one way ticket, but then they ckecked from CHC islamabad, and issued one way.

We received phne call from Visatronix on Saturday. Will be collecting the passports tomorrow (Monday) InshaAllah. Will let you know of the outcome. DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO. ON RETURN ONE WAY TEICKET?

Dear Maneek, Today I checked with the doctor's office where my mother in law did her medicals, and they say that they sent the results to New Delhi on 17th April. She got her medicals sone on 2nd April, whereas they sent the results on 17th. This is ridiculous. I have a feeling that doctors...

@maneek How do you know that the medical received by CHC on 23rd April? Did he have it in Islamabad? If your father had his medical on 7th April, why did it take so long to reach CHC Delhi?

i applied on 14 Feb, Medical done on 2nd April and passport was sent to CHC islamabad same say (2nd April) . Still waiting.

Congratulations Kan2008, I dont know about one way or return. Please keep us posted on the issue that whether your purchased one way or return.

If we have to buy 2 way ticket, the only option is PIA. PIA refunds the return leg of the journey easily. Plus their distribution of fare is exactly 50-50% (outbound and inbound), whereas in other airlines breakup is 80-20%. Meaning 80% outbound and 20% inbound. This is the reason that the fare...

Thanks Banff, But sometimes travel agents and immigration at Islamabad can be very nasty. They have this policy that anyone with a 'visitor' visa must have return ticket. I am unsure if they have been updated about the super visa category in which a visitor can stay in canada for 2 years.
