    hello sbwv09! for the marriage certificates, i'm pretty sure that i sent in the original long copy, and photo copied the short version. for the birth certificate, just photo copy will suffice. don't send the original. and yeah, because your husband is born in canada you don't need to worry...

    hello!!! my husband finally got his passport back!!! apparently, they didn't want to use the fedex envelope we sent... and we had to wait a bit longer because the sent it via regular post. but, he has it in his hands!!! wooohooo!! now, he will be here at the end of may! i can't wait!! :)

    bonacker! if you want to know if NYC has received your medicals... it's a better idea to fax ottawa. i faxed them and within a day, they sent a fax back saying that they went ahead and forwarded the medicals to NYC. there are two fax numbers: 613 954 6211 or 613-954-8653. i'm not quite sure...

    hey proxy! well... yesterday, my husband did receive a package from NY!! but... they were just returning the proof of the relationship that we had sent... photos, etc. so, that's a good sign. but... no passport. still. 24 business days for us. c'mon NY!!!

    proxy! my husband's says that now... but, when it was first transferred to NYC, ecas said nothing about medicals being received... so we did some faxing and sorted it out! i WISH ecas was updated letting us know when the passport was going to be sent back!
