    With or without your PR card you will need a visa on your RTD but only if the country accepts the Canadian RTD as a valid travel document (most GCC countries do not, check with the embassy) Also you will need your PR card to return to Canada

    She submitted her passport on 6 feb 2026 and it was returned by courier on 8th march 2026 with pr/visa/stamp valid from 23-02-2026 until 16-01-2027. Finally! Good luck everyone with your applications, may this journey be easier and more efficient for others.

    i also applied for preapproval in october last year and they refused with no reason given other than it's a 'case-by-case basis' theyre a waste of time tbh, but you can try going to their open house at the consulate in toronto to ask just google it

    Today my partner received her passport submission letter and we made an appointment in Bangalore VAC for Friday 6th February. We got her pre-arrival letter October 2025. She submitted her medical Jan 2026.
