No, they don't ask a passport from Inland applicants. I believe they applied as Inland, but then left Canada at some point during the process.

I think you should be fine! IRCC monitors those email addresses pretty closely, so you will probably get a response with portal credentials shortly.

IRCC is checking whether your photo and address are valid. It usually takes 2-6 weeks since COPR for the PR card to be delivered. You can link your PR card application with the CIC account to be able to see status updates such as shipping date. Instructions:

You can just follow up with IRCC via the original email through which you provided them with the requested information. I believe they monitor that email and respond fairly quickly.

Maybe try to follow up with IRCC by sending another response to the PR Confirmation Email? I sent them my response yesterday (after returning to Canada), and received the portal credentials today.
