The link you just share was from 2022. CIC also make changes on their site. And I was given that information the same day we received an email regarding my mom and brother's medical request. I never have problem with CIC as they provide accurate information for my application. -

Just a note, it will give you 2 option, visitor visa permit and visitor record. This is what CIC provided me when I contacted them. I was told that visitor record applies mostly for parent under Supervisa as Visitor permit has more requirements. -

Did you keep a copy of all the forms you submitted when you apply for PR? If you did, it has to be the same exact information you provided. No. They do not check you credit background to approve your citizenship. Applying a student loan can also apply while you are a PR. Even if you have a bad credit.
