Usually they may need to set up an appointment with you(at least that's what happened with me). They may ask you what is your postal code in order to make sure that you are located in their constituency. You can try to email the MP of the area you resided.

Sorry, I thought you were an inland applicant.. MP stands for member of parliament who are available to the their constituents. I am not familiar with the process of contacting IRCC from outside Canada but I heard that some people use a software to assist them.. All the best!

Contacting local MP is recommended if you can not get a hold of a live agent at IRCC call center. MPs are usually able to obtain a response within 1 day. I too am waiting for the golden email.. Good luck!

It has been a long time since we saw a PPR rain last time. Hopefully the officers are coming back to the desks from their summer vacation. We gotta understand that there is a fairly long winter(6 month) in Canada and people need to enjoy their summer. Hope everyone will hear something next week!

I know, it is for the best that people do not get their hopes up too much, but at least, like i said, we know for sure that your file is moving forward. If I got another ghost update, I would probably jump up and down and keep checking my email for every second of a 24 hours duration...

This is a big relief as i heard that Security may take a while and yours only took 4 months which is a blast. It seems like they may have got the feedback from CBSA and ready to finalize your application. It's about time!!!!
