I forgot how many days exactly, but it was more than a month. Everyone else here who got this email raised a webform about landing. goodluck!

I used that letter to get a new SIN number (the one that doesnt start with "9") along with my passport and a phone bill. I got my SIN after a week of applying online.

You can apply online thru service canada website. You will need to provide a scanned copy of your pr confirmation letter, passport, and 1 document for proof of address. Your new sin will take about a week to be finalized.

To those who submitted their CoPR back, did you guys submitted another photo, or the photo attached in the CoPR good enough as long as it is recent (taken within the last 6 months)?

My CoPR is expiring Oct 10, 2020. and no, I did not have any appointment booked before the office closure, for I was planning to do flagpoling. Nothing specific.
