    PRTD Singapore office

Thanks for your update. My application was delayed at vfs due to didn't send photos in. I used the new checklist on ircc website that didn't require photos but vfs said they do need. Jus submitted the photos couple hours ago. Im a bit worried because flight is on 23 Aug. When you received...

Hi! Did you need to include photos in the prtd application? I saw on the new application form that photo is not needed. But I'm not sure..

PR Card Timeline (Airport landing or physical Flagpole ONLY) 2022

The US border crossing is an option but not always practical because it requires crossing on foot or in a private car. Not by public transportation. Anyway. I just received update on my gckey that pr card has been mailed out. Thankful. 21 March landed yvr. 11 May card mailed.

PR Card Timeline (Airport landing or physical Flagpole ONLY) 2022

Same situation here with me. I'm also in bc and it is painful. I had to travel and now outside Canada and sent in prtd application so I can return to canada. So im currently in limbo with no pr card and god knows how long it would take for my prtd. No passport either since I had to send it in to...

PR Card Timeline (Airport landing or physical Flagpole ONLY) 2022

This thread is for those who landed physically at the ports not virtual landing. The other threads are full of inland applicants with virtual landing time lines that are irrelevant to those who physically landed at airports.

PR Card Timeline (Airport landing or physical Flagpole ONLY) 2022

In other threads and other sites I see people posting time from ecopr to getting pr card is about a month. I wonder if those are inland applicants because I notice those like myself who landed physically in canada couple months ago still have not received anything. I landed 21 March at yvr...

No urgent processing for initial PR card, why?

Im in Canada now and needing to travel to Singapore for work in the coming week. The worry is PRTD may take a long time to process, and I intend to accompany my wife and kids in first week of June when they are coming to land.

No urgent processing for initial PR card, why?

I landed in March, PR card was automatically applied for during landing. I need to travel for work soon. Submitted letter of explanation from myself and employer more than 3 weeks ago for urgent processing but no response so far. Approached local MP and they enquired for me and came back to me...

Continue to use foreign driver's license after passing knowledge test?

I certainly don't want to get into any trouble so I am going to ask ICBC about it directly. Guess that's the best way. If it is not allowed then I won't do it. Then I guess the alternative is to practise driving on my own with my foreign license until I am confident enough then take the...

Continue to use foreign driver's license after passing knowledge test?

I searched the forum but could not find an answer. I have a valid foreign driver's license from non-reciprocal exchange country. This means I have to take the knowledge test then the road test to get my BC license. I have up to 90 days after landing to get my BC license... my question is...

    BSF186 and Goods to Follow

See how confused and uninformed I am... :( I guess, best is for me to land first, get a better feel of neighbourhoods then take it step by step before committing anything major

    BSF186 and Goods to Follow

Actually... come to think of it, that is a good idea. Instead of spending money on lease when I'm not gonna be staying there physically, I could buy a townhouse and rent it out. The rental would cover the mortgage while I lock in the purchase price earlier to avoid further price hikes...
