Do i need police certificate even if i did not leave since coming as pr?

I am applying for citizenship with my family. We came to Canada on PR in March 2019 and never left. It still has been more than 6 months in last 4 years that we spent in the previous country. Do i need the police certificate anyway?

Ray of Hope - 176th Draw (CEC)

If you can figure out a way financially, i would suggest come here and do a 1-2 year college course, that will give you work permit, on that then you can start your life here in Canada. While you are a student, your spouse can have work permit and work and kid will have free public schools...

Ray of Hope - 176th Draw (CEC)

Just that fsw draws are getting delayed and potentially there may be smaller draws in future due to this as it is big percentage of overall invites = longer wait time, more people in the pool, higher crs cutoff.

Ray of Hope - 176th Draw (CEC)

Congrats, this is truly amazing. It means people who are older, probably working simple jobs, just being part of society and contributing to economy, and otherwise probably had no hope of pr, are now welcome to stay! At the same time, this probably means even tougher competition for fsw stream.

August 2018 AOR - join here

Have you tried calling CIC? It is what helped us. To get best chance to connect, do it first thing in the morning, Toronto time. We only waited 7 months, but in the final weeks that is what helped move our application along. If its taking longer, the customer service reps have the option to...

    COPR and coronavirus

Only immediate family members of citizens are allowed. Unfortunately not PRs. I guess she'll have to wait out till things normalize or other option is try to get through and land before it takes effect on 18th noon.

Married, Legally not separated or divorced

You should get some real legal help. I suspect that in Inida you may be able to divorce your wife on the grounds that you havent been living together in the last 6 months, and it may be possible to do so at this point with proper proof and just a single spouse claiming. Im not a lawyer tho, so...

how to get India pcc for OCI holders living in India?

They eventually sent it by post, so probably wait another 1-2 weeks to see if it simply arrives. If you feel worried, just call, maybe it can be picked up from their Delhi office as well.

    Accounting for Inc

Just to mention, we got a person through liberty and seems that for such a simple company (single person on contract position) they charge by good 40 % less than most other quotes we got. Most others would take ~250-300 a month for regular single person payroll/invoice/bookkeeping and ~1600 for...

English school for new Immigrants in Montreal

Thanks! Yeah, we could also pass the pitch that we don't plan to stay there and previously did reside in another province, however short our stay was (4-5 months), so maybe we can at least apply for the 'temporary' option. Another language is certainly advantage, but for the first 1.5 years of...
