Our Canada immigration journey has concluded! Immigrated as PR March 2019, sent in our paper citizenship application (family of 4) Jan 2023, and we are having our in person oath ceremony this Thursday, Jan25, 2024. Cheers!

I am applying for citizenship with my family. We came to Canada on PR in March 2019 and never left. It still has been more than 6 months in last 4 years that we spent in the previous country. Do i need the police certificate anyway?

If you can figure out a way financially, i would suggest come here and do a 1-2 year college course, that will give you work permit, on that then you can start your life here in Canada. While you are a student, your spouse can have work permit and work and kid will have free public schools...

You should get some real legal help. I suspect that in Inida you may be able to divorce your wife on the grounds that you havent been living together in the last 6 months, and it may be possible to do so at this point with proper proof and just a single spouse claiming. Im not a lawyer tho, so...
