HELP - Plane Tickets for Stay Extension Application

That's a good point, I might buy a one-way at that time, so if they stay over a year (from Feb 2015) then I can cancel it. If the ticket is round trip, I cannot cancel the other half. I tried doing it before, but there were no refund.. ???

HELP - Plane Tickets for Stay Extension Application

Hello, I am going to extend my parents' stay, but I have a quick question regarding the flight ticket as supporting documents. They are currently on visitor visas (multiple entry, but not super visa) and I have already extended once last year (their stay expires July). When I submit my...

CEC Flow and Timeline from my experience with CEC

I have requested GCMS notes back in Feb, but there was nothing useful at that time, I ordered too early.. Maybe it's time for me to order another one. Just wondering if it's a weird case that they recommended pass but no ME requests..

CEC Flow and Timeline from my experience with CEC

Sorry for digging this old post.. just hoping to confirm if this is still the way CIC works now. I submitted my application back in July 2014, when I called the service centre, the agent told me that my file was last reviewed March 26, 2015, and it says Recommended Pass. But i haven't receive my...

    July - 2014 Applications

Hi, my application is also received on July 4. Did you contact CIC about your process? I called the call centre and the agent told me that they haven't start the eligibility review yet; still under criminality check. Seems like they skipped my application ???

Thanks Saja_roy. I just re-did my rcmp. Too tired of being paranoid. I called CIC and the agent told me they haven't touch my file yet. Guess they are still waiting for me to submit this document even though they asked me to ignore it. ughhhhhhhh

Response from CPC-CTD-Ottawa regarding RCMP Requested on Jan 29 2015

Yeah I will reply to that email maybe they will update my file. Does it say in your GCMS notes that they located your RCMP? In my notes it only says requested fingerprints but didn't say anything else. However, for my husband (dependent), the same field in the note says "no reportable trace".. ???

    Spouse Open Work permit

Thank you again fkl :) I am just a bit confused, I read some posts on this forum, and seems like SOWP's main focus is on the other spouse's job in Canada. If the one outside Canada does not have a job, is it going to make the application look really bad? He has a college degree, and he is a...
