Any PRs from visa exempt countries - were you asked for PR card when flying?

I didn't. Airline asked for an ETA. told them I had a PR card instead.

PR - visa exempt Yes, I was asked for my PR card. I also know of a lot of people who were refused boarding because they didn't have either an ETA or PRTD.

Implied Status - Traveling to US

If you leave the country while on implied status, you lose that status. You can only return as a visitor, at the discretion of the border agents, and wouldn't be able to work.

BOWP rejected, can I still restore my status as a worker

No, you can't apply for a work permit if yours is not active. You'll have to restore to visitor status & wait for PR before you can go back to work.

BOWP rejected, can I still restore my status as a worker

Is your work visa still active? If so, yes you can reapply for a BOWP. If it is not, then no, you are out of status need to stop working and apply to restore your status to visitor. I'm not sure if you can use your OINP to get a work permit, I don't think so but I'm not sure.

    horrible system express entry

They're not equally qualified though, hence why people have different scores. Being accepted into the pool means you at least meet the basic criteria of any stream. The system then works to choose those most eligible ie highest scoring. It's not a perfect system but it does what Canada wants it to.

Questions regarding bringing my girlfriend to Canada

If she can get an LMIA backed job offer yes it would help. However the likelihood of that happening is slim. I don't think you understand what an LMIA entails... an employer has to prove that there is no one in Canada who can fill the position. A job at subway, supervisor or not, won't be good...
