Hey guys, So I applied for extension for protected person open work permit on January and now almost 100 days and no updates. That is my second extension, my first one took only 3 weeks. is there anyone else having the same issue ?

Yes, it is normal... there is a biometric for temporary permits ( study permit, work permit .. etc) and one for Permanent permits ( refugee, PR, citizenship ). How long did take for them to request the biometric after you applied for Extension ?

Hello guys, I applied to renew my work permit until i receive the PR. I renewed it before and it took like 2/3 weeks to get the work permit. This time is taking over 5 weeks now ... is it normal to take this long time?

I was wondering if anyone been refused / reject for permanent residence for protected person class ? and if so why they got refused?
