Inland Spousal Sponsorship - December 2018

That's great news! For all I know, it means it was received by the IRCC. If you didn't get any e-mail, just make sure you have the correct e-mail on the My CIC and monitor the spam folder to make sure you lose nothing

As @Vivian-inland stated, there are other requirements for OHIP, you can find it all here https://settlement.org/ontario/health/ohip-and-health-insurance/ontario-health-insurance-plan-ohip/who-is-eligible-for-ohip/ Basically, in addition to the 3-month wait period, the principal applicant will...

Inland Spousal Sponsorship - December 2018

You are eligible only if you stay in Ontario (not Canada, Ontario) for at least 153 days each year (along with other restrictions), but you don't have to wait 5 months to get it. Given that you are eligible, you will get your OHIP after 3 months in the Province and you will keep it as long as...

You can always apply for an extension of your Visitor Status up to 30 days before it expires. If i'm no mistaken, you said your status is valid until May, right? In this case, you can prepare the documents and wait until April. If you don't hear from them until then, you can apply for an...

Updating. I am not sure when my the clinic sent the results do IRCC, but I've just seen that it shows "You've passed the medical exam", so I guess we passed. We went to the clinic on Feb 23rd. Just waiting for the WP document to arrive by mail to start working!

Just to make sure, did you use the Principal Applicant information to link (name, passport, etc), not the Sponsor's? Did you use 2 people as number of applicants (more if you have dependents)? If you tried all that, I would call the IRCC to try to understand what is going on Good luck

Let me see if I understood. You were able to link your application for PR, but unable to link your WP? If this is the case, don't worry too much. It took me 2 days to get it linked after I linked the PR. It think it's just their process. In any case, we didn't receive any communication about...

Updating: As expected, our Work Permit was approved today! \o/ We didn't receive any e-mail yet, but as some people noted here, it will probably take one day until we get it Question: did anyone try to get a SIN with this status change? We are not sure how to show to Service Canada that we...
