I had another ADR back in January. Before that ADR, it was "we do not need additional documents", after I submitted the documents it changed to "we are reviewing the additional documents you provided".

I had to do it because I live in a biometrics required country. It is normal for peiple to receive/not receive it based on the country of residence.
