I sponsored my husband to come to canada and now he wass asked to pass his passport with the APPENDIX A..im very confused... It asks for the applicant..shall i write my husbands name as the applicant? It also has a spouse information column..should i write my name there even im a PR already...

Whats a file number? Is that different from the UCI number? Is that the one starting with a letter plus 9 numbers? Is that the application number? I need it for the appendix a..thank you! :)

Hi! I have a question.. My husband is now going to send his passport for visa issuance however theres a need to fill up APPENDIX A..theres a slot for the applicants name and on the other side is the Spouse..Who is the applicant? Is it me because i am the sponsor? Or is it my husband now...

Thanks rob..i asked this because when my cousin sponsored me my papers were sent back to her for resubmission..she then sent it to me to pass it on the visa embassy in my country..i was thinking it could be the same with a spousal application..

I have a question: after sending the forms to mississauga for the spousal sponsorship does it come back to the sponsor or is it sent to the spouse after they work on the papers? Does it need resubmission to the visa office in the country of choice? Thanks!!!

Thank you all for your advice. This may have stirred debates between u guys but i guess the decision of the vo's were of a case to case basis..lemme share something..my aunt filed to sponsor my cousin and went home right away for 2 mos..my cousin is now here and she had no problems. Again maybe...

i wanna leave canada to go back to my home country due to an emergency..im a PR here..i sponsored my husband 3 mos ago and was approved to be a sponsor ..can i leave canada? I really need to leave but then im worried his visa will be denied. Any advice pls? Anyone here went out of canada too...
