Congrats ;D :D Did CIC Ask you to provide some information that you do not intend to live in Quebec? CIC asked from most of the students in Quebec to provide such information. Most of the students solve this problem by: *get a driver license from another province *rent a place in another...

1- These are the only documents that you should have with. They may ask you to return all valid and expired work and study permits. 2- Yes you will get a letter but this is not refusal letter. This letter is only for the Canadian border to make sure that you have been entered to the USA land...

CIC usually ask from a primary applicant to submit a new passport if its going to be expired in 6 month. If they do not ask for a new passport, you would be in one of these situations. 1) They issue an immigration VISA in your current passport, but the expiry date of your VISA would be your...

You also can walk through a sidewalk on the Rainbow Bridge. In this case you need a quarter (25 cents) for each person to pass the bridge at the Canada side. I did it and it was really fast. It takes between 10 and 14 days. It depends how busy they are. They will not inform you. You should...

Congrats ;D These are all you need for landing. A proof of address is for PR card that CIC is going to send to you. Bills and Tax return forms would be enough to proof that. Most of the immigrant people who come to Canada for the first time, do not have an address and they provide a friend's...

Congrats ;D You do not need a TRV when you are in CANADA. TRV is just for re-entering. You just need to send your passport along with the Ready For Visa Email to Ottawa. They will issue an immigration VISA for you and COPR. Then you will be ready to land in CANADA.

There is an expiry date for your VISA, and it is a year after your medical examination date. for example if you did your Medical examination on May 15th, 2015 your VISA expiry date would be May 15th, 2016. This expiry date would be fixed for your visa and it does not matter when you get your...

Saph congrats ;D No, you become a permanent residence of CANADA after landing. Your CoPR must be signed by an immigration officer in a border or a CIC office for you to officially become a PR. Therefore, you must apply for OHIP and change your SIN after landing.
