Hi All.. Are there any other August applicants who had selected cpp-o (ottawa) as VO haven't received MR or am I the only one left out? Kindly appreciate your response. I know Ojeola said that in some cases it could 46 days, but just wanted to know if anyone else in the same situation as me.

@Thanks Ojeola.. I'm in Canada applicant and had selected cpp-O as visa office. Infact, I should also be getting it within 4-5days after receiving AOR just like you guys received it. Not sure why mine is getting delayed. I guess I will have to keep waiting for MR request.

Almost 18days over after receiving AOR. So far no MR for me from my representative.

Same situation here sgblues. I received my AOR on Oct 18th but haven't received my MR yet.

@ Ojeola... Do you see your ecas status changed from 'Application received' to 'In process'?

If you look at the sample 2nd AOR format that I posted, you can see that @mnjdev's application was received at CIO on June 11th and got 2nd AOR+MR request on Oct 18th. So at the worst case it could possibly take 4months for us to get MR request. I think Ojeola was very lucky in this matter...

@YL Even I got the same AOR saying that the application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing. Some of the CEC candidates got a 2nd AOR email(if we get one) along with MR request from visa office. I think we should wait for a week or so before contacting the CIO or VO as...

Hi Yupanin, I would suggest you to go with option#1 - Apply at Vergeville for work permit. I don't think option#2 will work out. Based on the letter issued you won't be able to change the status to worker. And of course you need US visit visa to enter USA.
