First timeCanadian passport application - how well do you need to know your references and guarantor

Me, my wife and kid have been in Canada for 6 odd yers now and causally know lot of people for more than 2 years though none of them would know/care where we work or what's my exact height etc... They wouldn't qualify as our "friends" but they trust us enough to be our references/guarantor. So...

CELPIP-G - Is online score report acceptable?

Hello everyone, Back in 2013, I passed the CELPIP-G test while applying for the PR. Fast forward 2017, I'll soon become eligible to apply for citizenship, which requires proof of proficiency in English. I believe CIC accepts CELPIP-G results even the expired ones. My problem is that I only...

    Right of Permanent Residence Fee

I paid the RPRF fee at the same time when I submitted my application (that amount has been charged from my credit card). Should I now expect to receive PPR or do they still send a RPRF letter? My current ECAS status, "Application received" with "We have received your medical." Thanks in...

    March 2014 applications-----

Out of curiosity, if one pays their RPRF fee at the time of submitting the application, do they still receive RPRF request? Also does ECAS reflect any change in status once CIC receive the RPRF fee? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Anyone Visited Dr. Francis Li in Toronto recently?

    Is emedical faster?

Thanks for the clarification. Tried searching for the CIC panelists with emedical enabled but could not find any comprehensive list. All I have right now is the Panel List from CIC's own website but that does not tell whether they are emedical enabled or not.

    Is emedical faster?

Hi all, Edit: We received our MR today. I have couple of questions. 1) Is emedical faster when it comes to getting results to CIC? 2) Is there a list somewhere of the clinics that are emedical enabled? More specifically looking for one close to don mills and Sheppardd. Thanks in advance for...

CEC Processing times for applications from within Canada

Any idea of the current processing times if you apply for PR under CEC from within Canada? The CIC website says 13 months but I have heard of a case where the person got his PR in 7 months. Is that true for all/most cases or a rarity? Thanks.

Fingerprints - just me or spouse too?

Thanks. One follow up question: What's the whole process? I give my fingerprints to agency, agency/RCMP sends results to CIC or will it be sent to me?

Fingerprints - just me or spouse too?

I am guessing the same but it would be great to get a confirmation.

Fingerprints - just me or spouse too?

Hi all, I got a letter today to get "A certified RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints." I have applied for the PR under CEC for myself, my spouse and a 6 year old kid. My question is, do we all need to have our fingerprints taken or just me (i.e the principle applicant)? Thanks...
