Got a reply from IRCC about the 33k TR-to-PR
So basically one must have already applied for PR to benefit from this new TR-to-PR "initiative" that will transition up to 33,000 workers to permanent residence in 2026 and 2027. It's completely crazy how the minister framed this as something else...- pedrocoelho

Yeah, I just saw the interview on Max Medyk's channel. Sucks to be pushed out the door for living in Vancouver. Guess I'll just have to find another door.- pedrocoelho
