Did anyone receive Surrender certificate recently? It has been more than 6 weeks. No update yet on surrender certificate.

Canadian Passport is mandatory for OCI.

No need to get any stamping on Canadian passport. You just have to use OCI booklet & Canadian passport to travel to India. My application date is also same as you - 15-July-2020 & got my OCI today. Please update me when you receive Surrender certificate since I have also not received Cancelled...

I am about to receive my OCI booklet tomorrow. But, I haven't received my Surrender Certificate & Indian passport yet. I checked BLS tracker. It shows "processing at consulate general". Did anyone receive OCI first & surrender certificate later? Pls reply. Thanks.

Acknowledgement was on 20th July. They sent my original citizenship certificate on 22nd July.
