I was told I was approved on Dec 2nd. I received the PPR (requested email copy/US-Ottawa) on Dec 7th, scanned and sent the next day. I finally received my COPR paperwork Dec. 28. Man that was a long 3 weeks :P

Just called to speak to an agent this morning to verify that they received our RPF and FBI clearance and they said our application was approved as of Dec 2nd!!!! :D ECAS shows decision made, with no further details and MyCIC has yet to be updated from background check in progress. Apparently...

K just got off the line. The friendly agent was able to confirm that she was approved as of Monday and that the draft was in the process, and not quite ready to be sent out yet so that's a HUGGEEE relief. Ottawa here we come! :D

We did. And in fact we had our application sent back to us because I was lacking a use of a representative form indicating my wife as our representative. But yes, so far shes been the only one to have received that one email. Been checking MyCiC and ecas almost day but no changes since then. On...

Late to this party but my wife received the first AOR I suppose, on 8/19. After initially returning our packet to us (major bummer :(), and us sending it back to them they finally have us in the system as of 7/21. Hooray! ;D BTW, I received my police clearance after having sent the application...

Don't get discouraged EKate. It all takes time and if they need something they'll always correspond with you in one way or another. For some of us, that just happens to be our packet making an impromptu return visit ::). Hang in there! I'm right in that boat with you!
