I also applied on 22nd of April to Abu Dhabi embassy and I am still waiting for a decision. Mine shows Bg checks under process.

May I ask when did you apply and when did you receive the decisions?

I applied via VFS Oman on the 22nd of April. My status shows "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" and the Background check shows ''We are currently processing your background check''.

Hello Ghassan From my experience and other friends' experiences I can say it takes from 3 days to 2 weeks to get the CAQ after you get the notification that your documents have been received. Just an advice, keep everything ready for the study permit application so that you can apply...

Hi Umbreen and Congratulations! I submitted my passport at the time of application to reduce the transit time to get it stamped in case it gets approved.

Next Monday will be 6 weeks and the average processing time is 5 weeks. I already sent an inquiry last week. Should I try calling them? Because I submitted my pp at the time of the application and I need the pp by mid June for travelling purposes.
