    Thats long also since you seem informed, I had a question. We submitted our claim on December 2024. My father was not able to come back then. Now there is a chance of him coming. He came to Canada once in 2023, will he need to file another claim or just merge into ours. Also will C-12 affect him?

    Claim type is political + assaults. IRB has huges amount of documents supporting them in their own database. Also its now less complex, atleast we haven’t received anything from irb.

    Yes probably Asylum claims made more than one year after someone's first entry into Canada after June 24, 2020, won't be referred to the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), regardless of whether the person has since left and returned.
