I never got an email or anything to notify me about the decision made, just a registered mail with my COPR out of the blue.. anyhow, I didn't have to pay for it, I assume it's paid for by the hefty charge for applying?

I'm filling out the IMM008 form but when I enter my country of residence under question 10, I'm unable to enter data about my last visit to Canada.. What do I do? can I fill that in after printing the form?

Try cibc, I know they offer mortgages to newcomers and foreign residents, you'll have to provide information about your income and like letters from your bank in the US but it shouldnt be impossible..
