I received the email on September 3 (two weeks before the oath).

DM was July 9-10? (I forgot the exact date, I’m in the sheet but on mobile now and too lazy to look it up) and ceremony went in progress ~one week later on July 17, assigned for September 17.

Completed my oath today. DM was in mid July. It was a nice ceremony. Good luck to every one still waiting.

why would you need to wait for the application to be closed? You have the citizenship in hand. Edit: I just saw your previous posts. That really sucks. So now we have to wait for that. Ridiculous. Has anyone else had that issue?

Can one visit any service Ontario? Or does it have to be in your city or closest one to you?

I wonder. When he gets that passport, will the issue date show mid july even though he received it in September? That would be adding insult to injury. Wait 2 months for it and lose two months of passport validity period.
