So the BLS agent was wrong - although I sent my application giving exactly two weeks (10 business days) for processing, I still have not received my passport and had to reschedule my tickets from Sept 25 to Sept 30. Neither could I get through BLS over the phone this time nor did I get a reply...

Hello! This might be a reply and a question. I am flying to India on a Canadian passport on Sept 25th (13 days from today). Mistakenly, I was under the impression that all visa and travel related problems disappear when you get a stronger passport but traveling to India remains a struggle...

Hey guys, Just wanted to post an update to let everyone know an idea of the timeline. We got an update in our CIC account on 22nd July asking for a medical test. We got it done on the 25th. The waiting game continues again.

Wish I knew about the CAN+ program before :( thanks for your input though! I guess its just a game of wait and watch. I will post updates here as things move along.

Thanks, Bryanna! But do you think it is normal that the application still hasn't moved forward in 37 days? I thought it may have something to do with the refused super visa application but she has traveled to Canada twice before on TRV and also has a 10 yr US visa. It has never taken this long...

Applied online for TRV for mum on May 13, 2016. Received the 3 token emails regarding application submission, confirmation and the mysterious update that no one sees in their account. 37 working days as of today and MyCIC account still shows "open/in process." Worried about this though...
