Yeah that’s what I’m leaning towards, just if I select Visitor I have to say how many days I’ll be there so I may just have to put a random number since I will be there until I have the PR card and that can take however long it takes.

Final update i think. IRCC responded to my mail regarding whether my approved PR will still be approved when i return to canada. They have said ; 'Unfortunately, since you do not reside in Canada, we are unable to continue with your portal creation. Please contact us when you are back in Canada...

yeah lesson learnt for sure, just anxiously waiting now for them to get back to me that I will still have the Approved PR when I return next month.

thanks for the reply. Waiting for a response from immigration to my email as their 'contact us when you are back' line is pretty vague. Really just want confirmation from them that my Approved PR will infact remain approved until i am back next month and can then do the portal. thanks

Hello, can I ask did you respond to the portal email telling them you weren’t in Canada? And when you were back in Canada and emailed them were they cool with it and just let you get access to the portal? just worrying seeing people say the process starts again.

thanks for the reponse. Yeah ive emailed them back asking if there is anything that can be done from here and that my approved PR application will infact remain open until i return in May. Ill take that advice re the photographs. Cheers
