That's why I applied early since I've been reading on the forum that people wait long for their permits. They do post on their website on which week of submission they are processing.

Applied may 18th, completed bio and medical by July 5, passport requested July 14th. My intake is Jan 2022.

I applied early and got approved but took the non-sds route. As long as your papers are good to go then it shouldn't be a problem. Just keep in mind that your medicals will expire within a year and you have to travel while it's still valid else you'll have to retake it.

Best if you work for only 20 hours the week of the start of your Fall term. It's always better to be on the safe side
