Yes I had Residency questionnaire on June 2016 and this was one of the requirements, I used to live in Dubai before residing permanently in Canada. I hear you! It was a very hectic procedure!

Hi I was in the same boat this summer, my PR expired August 2015. I have been told never leave Canada without your PR. I had my travel tickets on june 2016 I cancelled them coz I didn't get my PR yet.

I completely understand your frustration and yes!! I can imagine how incompetent the staff are. They simply don't care about our concerns at all! I can not find any reason to renew a PR in one year or more !!! SERIOUSLY if they need clarification, documentation or have a question JUST ASK FOR...

My advice is based on solid knowledge,do not renew on June 2018 wait a few month till you meet the requirement. there is no issues at all with an expired PR card except for not being able to travel.

I have seen 3 cases for families their applications went through Secondary Review and they got their PR days prior to their fights.

yep :( I uploaded my documents through the web case inquiry and I got the automatic reply stating that they received my message.
