Thanks, hope you hear some good news too. Just an email congratulating and saying that "You are now a permanent resident of Canada" and the same letter attached in the CIC account (so hopefully it is not a spam email!). I saw this in other forums but I really did not expect this to happen...

Ok, June 18, 2018 Applicant. We got Sponsor and Applicant eligibility passed back in Oct. 2019. Last week, both applicant and sponsor status changed to "decision made" but there was no email or no new letter in the mycic account. Does anyone know how long does it take to receive the...

Hi, can you share your experience with us? We applied for my wife in Quebec and now we are moving to Toronto and we are wondering if that could possibly cause a problem for us?

June 18th, 2018: Applicant (from Montreal, QC) Feb 2019: Medical then file transferred to Vancouver. August 2019: Got an email from Van. office saying that since the government of Quebec sets its number of PRs, we are delaying your process by creating a backlog. August 2019: Got an update and...

I have no clue, and I am stressed as hell. Are you also from Quebec. We have to find each other and do something about this. Otherwise, they will not process our files anytime soon. Saying Quebec does not want us does not make any sense. If that is true, why they issued us a CSQ in the first place.

Oh my god, I just received an email from Vancouver office that I can not believe it!!! THEY ARE NOT PROCESSING APPLICATIONS FROM QUEBEC SIMPLY CAUSE THEY HAVE PUT A BACKLOG ON QUEBEC'S REQUEST! Is this a JOKE? We have a CSQ! If they did not want the application to proceed why did they bother...

13 months and yet no update since February. Yes, I strongly suspect they discriminate based on nationality. My background check has not even started. No SA, AIP, nothing, just the medical in Feb. I have contacted my MP office and they contacted CIC and got nothing.

I do not know what is the problem when they transfer an application to a local office. Do you have any insights? What is more confusing for me is why the file has been transferred to Vancouver. Can you share your timeline and more information (if you have)?
