    Hi Christy, I got my AIP on july 2024, sent all the requested documents right the way..and never heard anything from them....every time time I call...they say the same thing; Medical approved Elegebily approved Background "in progress" At least in my case... nothing is moving

    Guys, I got my AIP in July 24, nothing since then, at the time my lawyer recommended me to not apply for OWP, because the PR and OWP had the same process time. One year and change after...here I'm stuck, no PR or OWP, my question is.... Not having a status...if I get the temporary OWP.. would...

    Short answer: No AIP doesn't change your status. Only when you get your PR.

    Nothing...after my AIP....not even a happy new year... absolutely nothing...I called yesterday and got the same electronic message from last year. Nothing is moving, in my case at least.
