hello all...... had to give an update ..... i got my PPR on jan 5 and i submitted my ppt the next day .... got my ppt back in few days .... and i am flying to canada on jan 30..... yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy all hte best to all those who are still waiting ...... god bless !!!!

Hi missmini, dont the family class people landing in canada have to show POF? and if yes, in what form....?? bank statement sent by email from the bank if printed, would that be accepted? abu, till when is you visa valid? what airline did you get the booking done? ... have a safe flight and...

Hi zeeshee, our ecas also is similar to yours.... 1 line ... stating we have started processing your file on XXXXX that is all........ mrs. canada

sent application to CPC-M in 1st week april 2010 and got sponsor approval by may 2010 after which the file was transferred to one of the slowest visa offices around the globe.... abu dhabi..... and its been in process since then ..... with requests for additional docs having been taken care of 2...

well our AOR also states 6-12 months as current processing times and i will complete 6 months in nov .... hope to get the visa by the end of 2010. god bless us all with our visas fast !!!!

how true zeeshee..... it feels nice to see other threads moving and with good news.... but it also hurts to see our thread and applications are not moving at all........ :( :( mrs canada

true that while PR for spouse is in process, the canadian sponsor must not leave canada .... but the sponsor can leave for a short term ..... say a vacation for few weeks...... if the sponsor is canadian citizen, then there is no issue...

from what i have seen in the various posts in forums, usually when they update the e-cas with medical result received, the PPr follows shortly.... however not all cases get this update of medicals before the PPR...... so i think you should get the PPR shortly now..... all the best ....... and...
